How PullVid handles copyright: a technical tool that does not host content, your responsibilities as a user, and how to report an infringement.
1. Nature of the service
PullVid is a technical tool that acts as an intermediary: it processes content temporarily and does not host third-party videos permanently. Files are generated on the fly, served to the user, and deleted automatically shortly after. We do not keep a public library of content and we do not index downloaded files.
2. Acceptable use
You may use PullVid only to download:
- Content you own or have created yourself.
- Content for which you have explicit permission from the rights holder.
- Content that is royalty-free or licensed in a way that permits downloading.
- Public content for personal, private offline use where the source platform allows it.
3. Prohibited use
- Downloading copyrighted content to redistribute, sell, monetize or re-upload it without authorization.
- Circumventing protection measures (DRM) or technical restrictions.
- Any commercial use without the rights holder's permission.
- Violating the Terms of Service of the source platform.
4. User responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you download and how you use it. You must respect copyright, intellectual property, and the Terms of Service of each platform. PullVid does not control or review the content users choose to download.
5. Infringement notice (DMCA takedown)
If you are a rights holder and believe PullVid facilitates infringing access to your work, send a notice to [email protected] that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- The exact URL or location of the material in question.
- Your contact details (name, address, email).
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We process valid notices diligently and, where appropriate, disable access to the identified material.
Please note that PullVid does not host third-party content and therefore cannot remove it from the source platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.); it can only disable technical access to that material from PullVid where appropriate.
6. Counter-notification
If you believe material was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected] explaining why, along with your contact details.
7. Repeat infringers
We reserve the right to restrict or block access to the Service for those who repeatedly infringe copyright.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is". PullVid does not host, control, or take responsibility for the third-party content users choose to access. Responsibility for use lies with the user.
Response time
We respond to most inquiries within 24–48 business hours. DMCA requests are handled on a priority basis in accordance with legally established timelines.
