Spotify is where you listen to your music, but its songs can't be saved as a regular file to take to another player. With PullVid you can get your Spotify song in MP3 and listen to it offline, free and straight from your browser, with nothing to install and no sign-up.

The process is simple: copy the song link on Spotify, paste it above, and download the audio in MP3. If you want to go straight to that format, there's a dedicated Spotify to MP3 converter.

How it works (and why we do it this way)

Let's be transparent: Spotify's audio is protected with DRM (digital rights management) and can't be extracted directly; no legitimate tool can bypass that protection. What we do is read the song's public data — artist and title —, find that same song published on YouTube, and deliver its MP3. It's the same song, meant for your personal use. That's why, technically, this tool works just like our YouTube to MP3 converter, only starting from a Spotify link.

We never claim to download "the Spotify file," because that's not possible or honest. What you get is the same music from a source that does allow access to the audio. That way you get the song offline while still supporting the artists when you listen to them on their platform.

How to download Spotify music step by step

On PC (Windows or Mac): open Spotify, click the three dots on the song → Share → Copy Song Link, paste it into the field above, and wait for it to process. Choose MP3 and click Download; the file saves to your Downloads folder, ready for your player or music app.

On mobile (Android and iPhone)

In the Spotify app, tap the three dots on the song → ShareCopy Link. Open your browser (Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone), paste the link into PullVid, and download the MP3. On Android the audio goes to your downloads folder; on iPhone it lands in the Files app, from where you can move it to your favorite player.

Is it the same song and what quality does it have?

Yes, it's the same song: we look up the same artist and title on YouTube and give you that audio. The quality depends on what YouTube offers for that track; we don't make up numbers or promise "320 kbps guaranteed" for everything. For everyday listening — phone, car, regular headphones — the result is more than enough.

Is it safe and legal?

PullVid installs nothing on your device and doesn't store the audio files after the download. Saving a song for personal use — listening offline — is common practice. What's not allowed is redistributing the audio, publishing it on other platforms, or using it commercially without permission from the artist or the rights holder. When you're ready, download your Spotify music with PullVid.

Frequently asked questions about Spotify

How does this work if Spotify doesn't allow downloads?

Spotify songs are protected with DRM and their audio can't be extracted directly: nobody can. What we do is read the song's public data (artist and title), find that same song on YouTube, and give you the MP3. It's the same song, ready to listen offline, meant for personal use. If you want to go straight to that format, use the Spotify to MP3 converter.

Is it the same song as on Spotify?

Yes. We look up the same track (same artist and title) published on YouTube and deliver its audio. It's the same song; what changes is the source the audio comes from, because the original Spotify file is encrypted and can't be touched.

What quality is the MP3?

The quality depends on the audio available on YouTube for that song; we don't make up numbers. In practice it's more than enough for listening to music on your phone, in the car, or with regular headphones. No honest tool can promise you quality higher than the source.

Is it free to download Spotify music?

Yes, completely free with no limit. You don't need a Spotify Premium account, sign-up, or any subscription.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Copy the song link in the Spotify app and paste it here from your mobile browser. The MP3 downloads directly to your device, on both Android and iPhone, with nothing to install.

Do I need to install any app or extension?

No. Everything happens in your browser. Paste the song link, choose MP3, and download. No desktop programs, no extensions, and nothing to update.

Is it legal to download Spotify music?

Saving a song to listen offline for personal use is common practice. What's not allowed is redistributing the audio, publishing it on other platforms, or using it commercially without permission from the artist or the rights holder. Support the artists by listening to them on Spotify too.
