How to download TikTok videos?

1

Open the slideshow in TikTok and tap Share → Copy link.

2

Paste the link above.

3

Hit Search.

4

Download each photo you want and, if you like, the audio.

TikTok isn’t just videos anymore: slideshows (or “photo mode”) are posts made up of several photos set to music that play like a slideshow. The trouble is the app itself doesn’t let you save those images easily, and most downloaders only understand videos. PullVid detects the photo format and shows you every image in the post so you can download the ones you want, plus the audio separately.

The process is the usual one: copy the slideshow link, paste it into the field above, and hit Search. Instead of a single video, you’ll see a grid with each photo and a button for the audio. Nothing to install, no account, and from any device.

How to download the photos from a TikTok step by step

On desktop (Windows or Mac)

Open TikTok in your browser, go to the slideshow, and copy the URL from the address bar (it contains /photo/). Paste it above and hit Search. The photo grid appears: click Download on each one you want and, if you like, on the audio button. The images are saved to your Downloads folder as JPEG.

On Android

Inside the TikTok app, open the slideshow, tap Share, and choose “Copy link.” Open Chrome, go to PullVid, and paste the link. Tap “Download” on the photos you want: they’re saved straight to your phone’s Downloads folder, with no space-hogging apps.

On iPhone

Copy the slideshow link with Share → Copy link, open Safari, and paste the link into PullVid. Each photo you download lands in the Files app; from there you can save it to Photos. The slideshow audio downloads as MP3 the same way.

What you get: high-quality photos + the audio

PullVid doesn’t take screenshots or recompress anything: it pulls the original files that TikTok serves. Here’s what you take away from a slideshow:

  • The photos in JPEG, at the highest resolution in the post, without the TikTok interface layered on top.
  • The audio/music from the post as MP3, in case you want to keep the song or sound.
  • Only what you pick: you download photo by photo—it doesn’t force you to grab the whole slideshow.

Can you download the slideshow as a video?

It’s the most common question, and the honest answer is that a slideshow isn’t a video: it’s separate photos plus a song, and TikTok doesn’t expose an MP4 file of the slideshow. So instead of promising you a video the platform doesn’t serve, PullVid hands you the real, clean source: each photo in high quality and the audio separately. With those files you can rebuild the slideshow in any editor if you need to, at better quality than any screen recording.

Is it safe and legal?

PullVid doesn’t install software on your device and doesn’t keep the files on its servers once the download is delivered. The images you receive are the originals from the post. Saving TikTok content for personal, private use is tolerated in most European countries; what isn’t allowed is reposting, redistributing, or using it commercially without the author’s permission. You can only download posts from public accounts.

Was the link a video and not a slideshow? Use the TikTok downloader for the MP4, or the TikTok to MP3 converter to keep just the audio. And if you want to grab videos from other networks, there’s the Instagram downloader and the YouTube downloader.

Frequently asked questions about TikTok

What is a TikTok slideshow or “photo mode”?

It’s a TikTok post made up of several photos that play like a slideshow, set to a song, instead of a video. The link usually contains /photo/. PullVid detects that format and lets you save each image separately along with the audio.

Can I download all the photos from a TikTok slideshow?

Yes. When you paste the link, PullVid shows every photo in the post as a grid. You can download whichever ones you want, one by one, in high quality and without the TikTok interface on top.

Does it download the slideshow music too?

Yes. Along with the photos, you’ll see a button to download the audio (the post’s song or sound) as MP3. That way you get both the images and the music.

Do the photos download in good quality?

Yes. PullVid pulls the original images that TikTok serves, in JPEG and at the highest resolution available in the post, without recompressing them or adding any marks.

Can I download the slideshow as a video (MP4)?

Not directly: a TikTok slideshow is photos + a song, and TikTok doesn’t offer a video file of the slideshow. What we do give you is every photo in high quality plus the audio separately, which is the real, clean source of that content.

Do I need to sign in or install an app?

No. It works from your phone or desktop browser, with no account, nothing to install, and no extensions. Paste the link and download.

How do I download the photos from a TikTok on iPhone?

Open the slideshow in the TikTok app, tap Share → Copy link, open Safari, and paste the link into PullVid. Each photo you download is saved to the Files app, from where you can move it to Photos.

How do I download the photos from a TikTok on Android?

In the TikTok app, tap Share → Copy link. Open Chrome, go to PullVid, and paste the link. Tap “Download” on each photo and they’re saved to your phone’s Downloads folder.

Does it work with private accounts?

No. You can only download photos from posts on public accounts. Content from private accounts isn’t accessible from outside the app without authentication.

Is it legal to download the photos from a TikTok?

Saving TikTok content for personal, private use is tolerated in most European countries. The photos, even public ones, belong to their author: you’re not allowed to redistribute them, post them on other platforms, or use them commercially without permission.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free and with no sign-up.

What if the link is a regular TikTok video, not a slideshow?

Then use the TikTok downloader for the MP4 video, or the TikTok to MP3 converter if you only want the audio. This page is built for photo posts (photo mode).
